All participating financial firms are required to complete an annual business size assessment as part of their membership.

AFCA uses the information captured in the assessment to calculate your membership levy.

Required information

Members need to provide business size data for the calculation of the membership levy, which is payable for the period ending 30 June 2019.

Date for calculation purposes

The relevant date to use for identifying the size of your business will be as at 30 June 2017, or for the year ending 30 June 2017.

How to complete your assessment

Log into your Secure Services account, selecting 'Annual Assessment' and following the prompts. Blue help icons at each step provide all the information you need. You can save your assessment at any time and return to it later. A copy also remains available for you to refer to after you have submitted it.

Membership levy

All members pay a membership levy annually. We determine the membership levy for a business by calculating the size of the business compared to other members. This is why business size data is required.

Confidentiality

We recognise the information provided by a member about the size of their business can be commercially sensitive and confidential. We confirm the information is not provided to any third party and is accessible only by a small number of AFCA staff involved in invoicing, reporting and member segmentation for effective information delivery.
