Liquidators have been appointed

On 11 November 2019, Mr Gavin Morton of Morton’s Solvency Accountants was appointed as liquidator of A.C.N 140 520 225 (formerly known as MyPlanner Australia Pty Ltd).

It is unclear at this stage what return the liquidator will be able to pay to creditors. If you have a Determination from AFCA against MyPlanner Australia Pty Ltd please contact the Liquidator and provide a copy.

You may contact the liquidator directly if you have any questions about their role. If you have correspondence or information that may assist the liquidator, you should provide this to them as soon as possible. The relevant contact is:

The financial firm remains a current member of AFCA

At this time, despite the cancellation of its license and liquidation status, A.C.N 140 520 225 (formerly known as MyPlanner Australia Pty Ltd) is a current member of AFCA.

What this may mean for complaints

Consumers can continue to lodge complaints about the actions of MyPlanner Australia while A.C.N 140 520 225 (formerly known as MyPlanner Australia Pty Ltd) remains an AFCA member.

If you have settled an AFCA complaint by Deed of Settlement and the agreed payment is not met, please contact AFCA.

AFCA will continue to consider and handle complaints against the financial firm as quickly and efficiently as possible.

As explained above, due to the appointment of a liquidator, we are unable to advise about the return of funds to clients or payment of any compensation that AFCA may award.
