As outlined in previous Member News, AFCA is consulting on proposed changes to its Rules and Operational Guidelines. The consultation commenced on 27 March and will close on 22 May.

In April, AFCA met with a range of stakeholders to discuss the proposed changes in more detail. We also held two webinars to thoroughly explain the 13 proposals and answer questions from members, industry, paid representatives, and consumer groups.

Members can find recordings of these webinars here.

Members that would like to make a submission to the consultation should do so by 22 May. There are many ways to provide feedback, including via our online form, in a formal submission, by emailing consultation@afca.org.au, or writing to AFCA by post.

Find out more about the consultation here.
